The São Paulo International Short Film Festival reached its 33rd edition in a hybrid format, with the return to some screening rooms and program clippings shown on partner platforms. Thus, we renew our commitment to the idea of an audiovisual festival as a space for shared immersion in content to be enjoyed and debated collectively. And, in this hybrid world, we also bet on the coverage that technology provides.
Around 40 countries were represented, in a set of 200 short films, in addition to debates and discussions about the format and perspectives of audiovisual in this new world that is being designed.
The programming was presented at CineSesc, Espaço Itaú de Cinema - Augusta (Annex, Room 4), Circuito Spcine Lima Barreto/Centro Cultural São Paulo, Cinemateca Brasileira and Museu da Imagem e do Som, and on the streaming platforms Itaú Cultural Play, Porta Curtas and Sesc Digital.
